Design a Prince or Princess Carnival Costume!

Do you dream in glitter, bling, feathers and colour?

We’re inviting children aged 5 to 15 to design a Prince or Princess Carnival Costume fit for royalty!

🌟 What’s Happening?

The winning designs (one Prince, one Princess) will be brought to life and worn by a member of the Summer School at the Carnival Royalty Show — with the opportunity to shine in the parade on the streets of Leeds on Monday, 25th August!

🎉 The Carnival Board will select one Prince and one Princess design to be transformed into a stunning carnival costume!

The costume will be constructed by children at the Summer School, organised by Leeds West Indian Carnival (LWIC) with expert support from:

  • 🎭 Hughbon (High Esteem) – Costume framework
  • 🎪 Unity Carnival Arts – Creative workshops
  • 💎 AnonyMas – Sparkling final touches!

✏️ How to Enter:

  1. Draw your Prince or Princess costume design.
  2. Create a name for your costume and write a brief description to tell us about your idea.
  3. With support from a parent or guardian,
