A lot has changed since we started Europe’s first Carnival 50 years ago, and it’s safe to say being able to stream the entire event to the world live was something we never expected to be able to do.
Thanks to the wonders of Facebook Live, wherever you are, you’ll be able to watch all the action from this Bank Holiday Monday’s Carnival unfold and judge the troupes for yourself over on our Facebook page.
For those lucky enough to be joining us in Leeds to celebrate, we will also have two big screens beaming all the action so you won’t miss a moment. The screens will run from 1pm on Monday 28th August, and will be located in Potternewton Park at the bottom of Roundhay Road and on Chapeltown Road outside the Mandela Centre.
