Dazzling creations adorn both junior and adult ‘royalty’ at the hotly anticipated Leeds Carnival Prince and Princess and King and Queen Shows; Soca Monarchs tease and amuse with the original sounds of the West Indies; and J’Ouvert is the revelers early morning warm up on Carnival Day. Carnival Arts
We are creating a cultural and artistic legacy for the city of Leeds using the arts and disciplines of Caribbean carnival – costume artistry, manufacture and performance, steel pan, calypso and soca music.
Carnival Workshops
We host workshops and masterclasses to share carnival artforms with individuals schools, colleges, community organisations and companies.
